If you’ve played a bit with the original Motorola droid, the droid 2 will feel very familiar. In fact, at first glance appears Droid two nearly identical to its predecessor, to the point that the distinction between the original 2 Droid in the hands of passers-by can be a bit of a challenge.
First, the back of the device is black again, it is a deep blue. Another cosmetic change is a particularly striking dark chrome strip running along the top edge of the screen. The lip at the bottom is the same, has been replaced with chrome sloping convergent. Other physical changes are subtle. Motorola has maintained the same style of the original capacitive buttons Droid, and work the same as the previous device. What is different is the placement.
What is good is that the droid 2 now has the same button for that device. The back of the droid 2 is essentially the same design but different colors. The speaker of gold grating is changed: it is now silver. As already mentioned, the back is now a dark blue material, soft to the touch. The marks on the camera and glass / plastic cover have moved a little, but the camera and flash sets themselves unchanged.
If you pop off the battery door, you will discover what lies underneath is basically the same too.
The microSD card slot is still not quite optimal requires you to use your thumb on top and press to get the card. I strongly prefer the designs of the press for the expulsion of click and I’m constantly worried about breaking or scratching the contacts. Oh, and the card is class 2, class 6, no more similar performance in the X-Droid
The only subtle adjustments to top. The power button is similar in form and style to the other buttons, sporting a rounded top that mixes with the case. Sometimes it’s a little difficult to locate the power button, slide your finger across the top of the box, but not impossible. It is seriously tiny.
Finally, the two packages droid is nothing special or extraordinary. Packaging is similar to the X droid came with the device in a corner on the right, and a piece of cardboard with top accessories below.
